The flooring is easy to install, and there are two installation options. The flooring features the revolutionary Uniclic installation system; the pieces of flooring just click together. Installing Quick-Step Laminate Flooring requires no adhesives, so you do not have to use any volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in combination with this product. VOCs emit gases over time that can cause short term and long term health problems. Higher concentrations of VOCs are found indoors, rather than outdoors; so, using this flooring is a healthy choice for your home.

Additionally, Quick-Step Laminate Flooring has recently gone green. Southern Pine is used in the production of this flooring, not rainforest or exotic woods. This makes using Quick-Step products a designer’s choice, since there is no guilt associated with installing the exotic look. Waste wood and damaged flooring pieces are re-used in various ways, no wood-waste goes into landfills. These laminate floors can be un-clicked and re-used.

This product has a lifetime warranty; around 33 years. The warranty covers the product for replacement of boards and accessories only due to defects in the manufacturing process, so examine all materials carefully prior to use. The warranty is strongest initially and loses strength over time. The accessories have a 25 year warranty and have the same pro rata warranty, that loses value the longer you own the product.

Quick-Step Laminate Flooring Collections

Classic –The Classic Collection features 8 different types of wood designs from birch to walnut. The wood laminate has a subtle texture, squared edges for seamless fit, and 12 different variations for each design. The Classic Collection has 2 and 3-strip planks.

Classic Elite –The Classic Elite Collection includes 5 choices of wood laminate flooring that has the look and feel of real wood. The Classic Elite Collection comes in 3-strip wood planks.

Linesse –The Linesse Collection features 6 designs on 3-strip planks. The planks in this collection have an exclusive feature: two of strips on each plank slide to create a realistic design. The wood grain pattern looks and feels like real hardwood.

Sculptique
The Sculptique Collection resembled hand-scraped wood flooring. It is American made. It has a rustic look and scalloped edges, giving it the handcrafted look.

Elegance
The Elegance Collection has 6 different wood laminate choices. The planks vary in length and have unique wood grain patterns. The planks have micro-beveled v-groove edges.

Eligna
The Eligna Collection includes 20 different single and 2-strip plank designs. There are different surface finishes for different products. The planks have squared edges for a seamless installation.

Country
The Country Collection has the look of wood flooring that is hand scraped and has the look of wood flooring that is beautifully aged. Some of the planks come with a micro-beveled edge and some have the scalloped look.

Perspective
The Perspective Collection has 11 different wood/color choices. This collection has v-grove edges.

Arté
The Arté Collection has two different medallion tiles. They can be used on their own or can be paired with The Perspective Collection for a variety of design possibilities

Quadra
The Quadra Collection includes 15 stone designs of laminate tile. The tiles install using the click-lock system and some include natural looking grout line.
