Dixie
Carpet
Dixie Group
was originally founded in 1920 as Dixie Mercerizing Company.
It was named for a British calico printer. In 1951, Dixie
entered the carpet industry by acquiring Dalton Candlewick
Inc., located in Dalton, Georgia. Candlewick specialized in
making yarn for the carpet industry. Dixie began working
towards becoming a top provider of quality carpets in the
early nineties.
Since then,
the company has become one of America’s most rapidly growing
companies for floor covering. The company markets products
to customers around the world in markets that include
construction, replacement, and retail. Many businesses such
as homes, restaurants, hotels, and even yachts rely on
beautiful and comfortable Dixie products to add
elegance.
In 2003, the
company introduced the Dixie Home brand of carpets. Products
are made of high quality yarn in order to provide customers
stylish carpets and performance. Their collection provides a
variety of broadloom fashionable, high quality residential
carpets. When you get your carpet from Dixie Home, you have
the peace of mind that comes from getting carpet backed by
Stainmaster warranties. There are several types of carpet
you can purchase.
Whether
you’re looking for carpet your family or for business
purposes, you’ll love the style and elegance offered by
Dixie Home carpet. Their wide selection of carpets include
styles of loop, cut/uncut, frieze, saxony (otherwise known
as velvet, plush, or cut pile), texture, and pattern. With
so many colors to choose from, you are sure to find just the
right carpet to go with your home
furnishings.
Keeping your
Dixie Home carpets clean and beautiful requires minimal
effort with the Dixie home inclusion of the Stainmaster
technology, while the durability of Dixie home is legendary.
You can also feel good about buying from a company that
takes great pride in their efforts to keep the world around
them as clean as possible by minimizing their footprint.
Greener methods of manufacturing and recyclable goods are
part of the Dixie company's commitment to the
environment.
The
Kensington Collection of Dixie Home carpets
features deeply carved carpet with multilevel
loops.
They
are made to look like waffle pique knits. Leaves and
tendrils decorate these beautiful carpets, which are
available in Brisbane, Gibraltar, and Westonshire styles.
Carpets are offered in 30 colors and are created from high
quality Stainmaster Tactesse nylon.
Another
great collection of carpets from Dixie Home is The
Versailles Collection, which features four
different patterned carpets.
Patterns are
created using small differences in color of yarn as well as
loops that end at various levels. The Merida style has a
pretty vine pattern. A cultivated brocade is a feature of
the St. Jovite style. For an intricate tile design, take a
look at the Vento style, which also features a bias-cut
pattern layout. Embossed leaves are featured on the
Chansoneete style of the Versailles
Collection.
